Grid is intended to assist subscribers in assessing and managing risk with respect to legal and regulatory compliance obligations relating to money laundering, fraud, corruption, terrorism, organized crime, regulatory and suspicious activity reporting, sanctions, embargoes, and other regulatory risks and associated obligations. Moody's is not a consumer reporting agency. Moody's services and data do not constitute a 'consumer report' as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. sec. 1681 et seq. Consistent with the terms and conditions of the subscriber's agreement with Moody's, data provided by Grid is for alert purposes only and may not be used in whole or in part for the purpose of serving as a factor in establishing a consumer's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, government benefits, or housing; or for any other purpose authorized under the FCRA (or local equivalent), or for the purpose of taking an adverse action as defined by the FCRA. User further agrees to maintain the confidentiality of such material and information, not to make use thereof other than for authorized purposes, to limit access to the material and information to only employees requiring such information, and not to release or disclose it to any other party.
The information in Grid comes from publicly available media and government lists that meet Moody's data sourcing standards. Due to the nature of these sources, not all facts or events may be included or up to date and/or may contain errors. Grid returns optimized search results based on users' inquiries.
The Alert information contained in this document may or may not pertain to the individual or entity referenced in user's inquiry, and user acknowledges and agrees that Grid does not make decisions on behalf of the user or any other person and that the user decides whether the information contained in this document matches a specific entity or individual. Grid does not make, and is not intended to make, decisions based solely on the wholly automated processing of personal data which may produce legal or similar significant effects on individuals without human intervention ("Wholly Automated Decisions").
