Learn more about the Entity verification API (EVA). EVA is an API that allows you to access key entity verification data, providing access from a single source at Moody's.

The Entity verification API (EVA) brings together the core pieces of entity verification data that you need to make critical business decisions.

EVA gives you access to live register data from commercial registers and financial authorities across more than two hundred countries with curated datasets covering more than 600 million companies. Together, these datasets give you a clear and current picture of an entity’s identity, structure, and risk signals supporting seamless onboarding and ongoing portfolio management.

These details include:

  • registration number

  • registered name

  • address

  • directors and officers

  • status

  • original documents from official sources, such as register extracts, annual accounts, articles of association and more.

Inside Moody's for Compliance, EVA acts as a data source that enriches the entity record and supports assessment workflows. You can access EVA entity data by searching for a company and adding it to your portfolio.
